High rate AD plant at Orchard House Foods in Corby.

This project was designed by Biowaste to process 146,000 tonnes per annum of fruit waste. The anaerobic digestion facility is located next to the fruit juice supplier’s plant and generates biogas capable of providing up to a third of the company’s electricity requirements.

Tank Storage Systems supplied the complete digestate storage system including:

– Digestate tank with 464m³ capacity

– GRP tank cover

– Electrical submersible mixer
